Advertising on Try This at Home

Paid Advertising on Try This at Home is designed to be democratic and affordable for large and small indie businesses alike. There are two ad modes on Try This at Home, Standard Rotating and Project Wonderful ads.

Standard Rotating ads are managed exclusively by us. They are at the top of the page and rotate around so everyone has a chance to take the Top Spot. The ad rates and length of time they are displayed are fixed, as well. We accept no more than 15 ads in this spot at a given time, with a maximum of four 150x200 ads, so the ad column does not get too cluttered and your ad still stands out. Rates for this ad program are as follows:

Monthly - $14.00
Bulk Monthly* - $12.00

Weekly - $6.00
Monthly - $21.00
Bulk Monthly* - $19.00

* Bulk Monthly rates apply when three or more consecutive months are purchased. For example, calculating four months would be: 4(bulk monthly) = total. Weeks purchased do not have a bulk rate; for example, three months plus one week would be: 3(bulk monthly) + weekly = total.

Project Wonderful ads are managed by us as well as a third party. These ads are located at the bottom of the ad column and can be bid on. These do not rotate around, so your bid applies only to the box on which you've bid. If somebody bids higher than you, your ad will be immediately swapped out. These ads are great for fast, cheap exposure if you're not interested in committing to a full week.

Featured Finds are never sponsored except where explicitly noted; however, if there is a handmade / indie design or supply business that you think would fit in with our taste level, feel free to email us about it!
